Typical Hill Top Student Profile

Hill Top Preparatory School is designed for bright, neurodiverse students in grades 5–12 and post-secondary programs who face academic, social, or emotional challenges in traditional learning environments.

Our students often have diagnoses such as:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD, Level 1)
  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Anxiety and Mood Disorders
  • Specific Learning Disabilities (e.g., Dyslexia)
  • Executive Functioning Challenges
  • Sensory Processing Differences

Hill Top students are intellectually capable, curious, and eager to succeed—but they may require a more personalized environment to develop their confidence, independence, and sense of belonging.

Who May Not Be a Fit

Hill Top is not equipped to serve students who require:

  • Full-time 1:1 support or wraparound services
  • Intensive behavioral intervention or therapeutic programming
  • Daily support for elopement, physical aggression, or ongoing verbal aggression

We are also not a fit for students with primary diagnoses, including but not limited to:

  • Emotional Disturbance (ED)
  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
  • Intellectual Disability (ID, moderate to severe)

Each application is thoughtfully reviewed to ensure the best match between the student’s needs and the services Hill Top can provide. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@hilltopprep.org.
